Heads of space agencies of the participating countries discussed the future of the ISS manned spaceflight

Today, on the eve of the 62nd International Space Congress in g.Keyptaun (South Africa), a meeting of heads of space agencies of the participating countries of the International Space Station (ISS). Topics of discussion were the use of the ISS after 2020 and the development of manned space flight after the completion of the ISS program.
The meeting was attended by Head of Russian Federal Space Agency VA Popovkin, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), Jean-Zh.Dorden, Director General of the Department of Space Studies Canadian Space Agency (CSA), D. Leclercq and president of Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), K. Tachikawa.
The meeting participants agreed to create an expert group on manned space flight in the multilateral Coordinating Board meeting will be held in early 2012.
