Encore un post pour les amateurs de statistiques. Voici par la NASA le décompte des objets spatiaux suivis et répertoriés. La Russie (+ les anciens pays de l'URSS) reste en tête avec 6195 sur 16530 au total.
16.10.2012 / 9:10 tracked in Earth orbit 16,530 items
As reported in the quarterly report of the Department of NASA for tracking artificial space objects (NASA Orbital Debris Program Office), as of October 3, 2012 the number of man-made objects in Earth orbit, tracked by means of space control is 16,530 units. This 131 piece of more than three months earlier.
Some of the tracked objects are 3537 (+ 38) spacecraft (functioning or "dead"), 12 993 (+ 93) - stage rockets and other debris.
"Seating" of space powers had changed.
First place for Russia and the CIS countries - 6195 (+ 87). Of these, 1421 (+ 7) - satellites, and 4774 (+ 80) - fragments of PH and other "junk".
The second line for the United States - 4946 (- 34) objects. Including 1123 (- 46) satellite and 3823 (+ 12) stages and fragments. This sharp decrease in the U.S. satellite constellation due to the reclassification of objects - a number of spacecraft transferred to ryazryad "garbage."
Third place in China - 3726 (- 1) objects. In particular, 131 (+ 5) satellites and 3595 (- 6) objects of other origins.
Fourth place in the ranking France - 492 objects (+ 3): 55 (+ 1) + 437 (+ 2).
The Japanese 199 (+ 4) facilities - 121 (no change) satellites and 78 (+ 4) fragments.
For the Indians, 175 (+ 1) objects: 48 (+ 1) + 127 (no change).
"Indicators" of the European Space Agency - 41 (- 1) + 45 (no change) = 86 (- 1).
All other countries are "owned" 711 (+ 72) objects - 597 (+ 71) + 114 (+ 1).
