Date: Late August +
we're going to go sample some more areas and as a result of that, we're not going to be ready to roll out of the OPF (Orbiter Processing Facility) tomorrow.
"The bottom line is we're not going to make the 21st, we're probably only a few days down from that," he said. "It's too early for me to be able to put a fine point on that. Shuttle Discovery moves to Vehicle Assembly Building
While shuttle Endeavour orbits the Earth at the International Space Station, sister-ship Discovery moved from its hangar to the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center on Sunday morning in preparation for launch to the outpost in late August.
The test results show the tank is good to fly, allowing Discovery to make her journey to the VAB on Sunday.
This places STS-128 on a NET (No Earlier Than) launch date of August 26.
