Les projets lunaires de la Russie

On sait que se discute actuellement le programme spatial russe pour les 20 prochaines années. C'est l'Académie des Sciences russe qui pilote les réflexions, à charge ensuite au gouvernement de décider puis à Roscosmos de mettre en oeuvre. Les russes veulent donner, dans un premier temps un peu moins d'importance aux vols pilotés et plus aux engins automatiques, en particulier pour les études hors de l'orbite terrestre. Ces derniers temps l'intérêt pour la lune semble avoir pris le pas sur un éventuel vol vers mars qui apparait comme iréaliste à court terme. Les russes veulent faire de la lune une sorte de terrain de développement des technologies pour aller ensuite mais bien plus tard vers mars.

En tout cas ils prévoient 4 ou 5 missions vers la lune d'ici la fin d ela décennie dont deux avec des "Lunakhod" ces rovers qui prendront un aspect différent de leur homologues soviétiques des années 70.

détaille les projets d'exploration robotique. Cela parait faisable, avec la Russie qui referait ses gammes dans un domaine que l'URSS maîtrisait plutôt bien mais dont la capacité a été perdue.
Il faudra renouer avec la fiabilité, pour que les rovers voyagent, alunissent puis roulent et travaillent, et que des échantillons reviennent sur Terre.
Pour l'annonce de l'Académie des Sciences sur la base lunaire ... cela reste AMHA un voeu, lointain comparable à celui des chinois, des indiens ....

Certe lointain mais les déclarations russes affirment de plus en plus que la Lune sera une étape avant d'aller vers Mars. Après les délais...

Non seulement lointain, mais certainement irréalisable pour la Russie d'aujourd'hui. Une économie de tiers monde (exportation de matières premières), une absence quasi totale sur les marchés technologiques (hors militaires) et un peuple qui paye toujours la facture de l'URSS. De plus, l'une des principales recettes du pays, le pétrole (la Russie est le premier exportateur mondial), ira en diminuant dans les années qui viennent (la Russie a passé son pic pétrolier). Se reférer à la Russie par analogie à l'ex URSS n'a plus aucun sens aujourd'hui. Elle n'a simplement plus les moyens de ses ambitions spatiales.

Lev Zeleny (le directeur de l'IKI, l'Institut d"Etude Spatiale de Moscou) a confirmé lors d'une conférence de presse l'intérêt des russes pour la Lune qui sera leur principal sujet d'étude lors des prochains dix ans. Il a précisé le programme de lancement des sondes vers le satellite naturel de la Terre: 2015: Luna-Glob Lander, 2016: Luna Glob Orbiter, 2017: Luna Ressources (avec un Rover indien), programme différent par rapport à ce qu'avait indiqué Anatoly Zak sur son site (Et qu'il a modifié depuis: http://www.russianspaceweb.com/moon_2012.html#switch).

L'article ci-dessus qui ordonnance des missions robotiques lunaires (avec mise au point et certification de matériel) pour la décennie à venir, et repousse une nouvelle tentative Phobos au-delà, ne semble pas prendre en compte la collaboration à Mars Express. (2016 et 2018 voir le FIL).
Et notamment la partie dévolue aux russes pour 2018 avec mise au point d'un atterrisseur martien portant le rover européen (atterrisseur qui serait en avance sur les techniques lunaires et la mission Phobos :scratch: )
