Demain nouvelle sortie.

After an off-duty weekend, the International Space Station’s Expedition 20 crew was back in action Monday with tasks highlighted by Commander Gennady Padalka and Flight Engineer Michael Barratt preparing for their upcoming “internal” spacewalk.
Padalka and Barratt replaced batteries in their Russian Orlan spacesuits and checked out internal airlock systems in advance of the brief spacewalk – the second for Expedition 20 – which is slated to begin about 2:45 a.m. EDT Wednesday. The spacewalk is scheduled to last about an hour with Padalka and Barratt set to replace a Zvezda hatch with a docking cone in preparation for the docking of the Mini-Research Module 2 later this year. The excursion will take place internally with the spacewalkers attached to umbilicals in Zvezda for life support.
